AMHC is offering “Body and Mind,” a free 6-week program of classes intended for anyone coping with a long term health problem such as asthma, arthritis, cancer, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, depression, fibromyalgia, obesity and Parkinson’s.      “Body and Mind” helps you learn how to cope and manage your health and when the program is over, you will be able to better deal with your pain, cope with being tired and feeling sad, plan healthier meals, manage your medications better, talk about your health and how you feel with family, friends and health providers, and relax and enjoy your life more.
Interested participants are encouraged to bring a friend, family member or caregiver to the classes.  Each week, the program runs for 2 and one-half hours.
The six-week “Body and Mind” program starts Saturday, April 4 and runs for six consecutive Saturdays through May 9, at the Caribou Wellness Center.
