Presque Isle – Jean Paul LeBlanc passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2009, at New Smyrna Beach, Florida at the age of 76. “JP” was born November 1, 1932, in Robichaud Office, New Brunswick, the son of Napolean and Josephine (Porelle) LeBlanc “JP” was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was a lifelong Catholic and member of St. Mary’s Parish in Presque Isle, Maine. He worked for 40 years in chemical sales starting with Canada Packers and retiring from Nutrite Chemical in Maine. He was a founding member and current Chairman of the Board of First Citizens Bank in Maine; founding partner and current President of Atlantic-Pacific Trading Company and current President of the Board of Grand Falls Milling.
JP is survived by his wife, Aurella (Robichaud) LeBlanc of Old Orchard Beach and Presque Isle, ME; his daughters, Diane LeBlanc of Newton, MA; Lynne Bock and her husband Dr. Randall of Newton, MA; sons, Judge Bob LeBlanc and his wife Joanie of Orlando, FL and Paul LeBlanc and his wife Darcy of Westbrook, ME. He loved his five grandchildren Samuel and Eli Bock, Abbigail, Thomas and Josephine LeBlanc very much and enjoyed life with his entire family and friends far and wide. Survivors also include Donald LeBlanc and his wife Germaine of Shediac, NB; Francis LeBlanc and his wife Jeannine of Barachois, NB; Jeanette Belliveau of Buctouche, NB; Juliette Landry and Ed Stevens of Parry Sound, Ont.; Bernard LeBlanc and his wife Helene of Shediac, NB; Cecile Bourque and her husband Eric of Mont Jolie, Quebec; Gilles LeBlanc and his wife Rose of Barachois, NB; Bernice LeBlanc, Lilliane LeBlanc and Loretta LeBlanc, all of Barachois, NB. He is predeceased by brothers Valmont LeBlanc, Fernand LeBlanc and Guy LeBlanc.
