Caribou Middle School
Recently, the CMS seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams completed their season. The 7th grade girls had a record of five league wins and four league losses. They were coached by John Habeeb, a resource teacher here at the middle school. The team members are: Clara Collins, Shyanne Barnes, Alana Sirois, Delaney Williams, Alissa Irving, Emily Sirois, Samantha Adams, Brooke St. Peter, Mandy Levesque, Samantha Cammy, Brianna Rossignol, Jessica Rowland and their manager Victoria Keaton.
Mr. Hab had this to say about their season, “I believe that our girls are much better now than at the beginning of our season. We focused on fundamentals and teamwork. Our success can only be measured by the hearts of our players.”
The 8th grade girls had a record of four league wins and five league losses. They were coached by Andrew Kirby, a biology teacher at the high school.
The team members are Alexa Massey, Rebecca McDougal, Anesha Hersey, Jessica McNeal, Ashley St. Peter, Courtney Burby, Sara Houston, Olivia Sleeper, Ginger Kieffer, Ashley Richards, Emma Duplissie-Cyr, Mallorie Cyr, and Gabby Gorence.
“Our season was fun, enjoyable, and different. I give our coach a thumbs up,” says Alexa Massey.
