Presque Isle Middle School
I have eaten at a lot of restaurants in Presque Isle, and I have many memories to hold onto. I have had many different types foods at many different places. All these restaurants I have gone to had a nice atmosphere and good service. McDonald’s is a fast food restaurant that is mostly burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries. My favorite food there is the honey mustard chicken wrap. I think that it is a good place for kids to go, because kids enjoy the food, and you can have birthday parties there. McDonald’s is also a good place to go if you are in a hurry because you are in and out quickly.
Arby’s is another good place because there is a good and healthy variety of food to pick from. I like the variety of food choices, and it is inexpensive. My favorite food at Arby’s is the chicken sandwich and the curly fries. I also like the chocolate milkshake.
The Pizza House is a good place to get an ice cream cone after a parade. It is a good place to order pizza for dinner if you live in Mapleton. The pizza house also has subs, onion rings, and chicken wings.
KFC is a fast food restaurant. Even though it is all chicken, there are a lot of different choices to choose from! There is also a Taco Bell at KFC. It is a Mexican restaurant that has tacos, and spicy foods.
On my birthday, my favorite place to go is the Mai Tai because their servers are nice. The food is always warm, and their food is very good. They serve many desserts there to have after a good meal.
Ruby Tuesdays is another place to go. It is roomy and there is a lot of good food to choose from. They serve salads, hamburgers, and meat. You can sit at a table, at a booth, or at the bar if you’re an adult.
The Mapleton Diner is a family owned diner. It has home-cooked food and is decorated with seasonal and fun themes. It is homey and nice people go there. There are also good desserts to eat.
Although Subway is small, their food is great, and the servers there are friendly and always make sure you get what you want. At Subway there are subs, cookies, chips and soda. My favorite sub at Subway is the BLT.
At Tim Hortons and Dunkin Donuts, there are more than just donuts. There is coffee, and there are toasted sandwiches. Their coffee is great, and their donuts are always fresh. My favorite donut at Tim Hortons and Dunkin Donuts are the glazed donuts.
Governors is a good restaurant because the atmosphere is friendly and their servers are nice. If it is a cool day, and you’re in need of a nice hot soup, I would go to Governors! There is a miniature train set that goes around the top of the wall in the restaurant! Governors makes special pastries and desserts.
Bonanza is also known as a steakhouse. It is a very good place to go to celebrate an anniversary or just for fun. It has a very good salad bar/ hot buffet, and the food is very inexpensive for all the choices you get. Bonanza has a kid’s menu that has chicken strips, kid’s burgers, hot dogs and it includes the buffet/salad bar.
