New Sweden Extension Goes Green

    Eight members and one guest met last month the Covenant Church for the New Sweden Extension’s regular  meeting.  The program, “Going Green” was presented by Arlene Plourde and Deline Johnson who informed the group of many interesting facts regarding saving, recycling, and preventing pollution and waste.
    During the meeting, Extension members discussed the theme for the Northern Maine Fair exhibit as well as which agencies the group will support with donations. The dates for the county and state meets was also addressed.
