Cuddles, a 3 1/2 year old spayed female owned by Everett Milton of Stockholm, has volunteered as official quality control inspector of catnip cat knots toys made for the Forum Craft Fair scheduled at Presque Isle on April 4 & 5. Cat refuge volunteers made several dozen catnip cat knots that will be sold for $1.00 each to benefit the spay/neuter program at the Halfway Home Pet Rescue DBA Madawaska Lake Homeless Cats. The RSVP Caribou division of retired volunteers provided several hours of help making the catnip toys. The cat refuge still needs bakers and crafters to donate items for the fair. The donated items can be dropped off at the Caribou Chamber of Commerce office at the downtown mall between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 3, for delivery to the craft booth at the Forum.
