Caribou boys take third at MDI

    On Saturday at Mount Desert Island, the Caribou Viking track and field team competed in their first meet. The girls took second place with a score of 150 and the boys finished third with 130 points.

    “The boys were very competitive and the meet came down to the last couple of scored events,” said coach Roy Alden, who was impressed with how the Lady Vikings faired.
    “For a very young team, the girls had a good start. Emily Anderson did excellent in the shot and discus as did Emily Collins in the sprints and jumps.”
