The Aroostook League has an awards program for its member schools, to recognize athletes as “All-Aroostook” for their accomplishments during their sports seasons.
Team sports, such as baseball, softball and tennis, have their all-stars selected by the member coaches.
For individual sports, such as track and field, all-stars are chosen by certain criteria established by the Aroostook League.
Special awards for high point scorers at the Aroostook League Track and Field Championships were also announced.
The Howard Lello Champion Award, which goes to the girls high scorer, went to Jamie Pelletier of Fort Kent.
The Emery Plourde Champion Award, for the boys high scorer, was Caribou’s Nate Swan.
