Friday, July 24
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Katahdin Federal Union Customer Appreciation Day – refreshments and door prizes.
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Vacationland Estates Karaoke Night – open mic, all welcome!
9 p.m. – Moonlight Golf, VaJoWa, Scramble 4-person team, 9 holes. $20/person.  Prizes. Fmi: 463-2128.
9 p.m. – Fireworks @ VaJoWa Golf Course sponsored by area businesses.
Saturday, July 25 – Sunday, July 26
Fishing Derby – pre-register @ IF One Stop, Bishop’s Market and other locations-to be announced.  $10/person to register.  Saturday 6 a.m. –  4 p.m. and Sunday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Prizes awarded at 2:00 on Sunday @ IF Fish ‘N Game Club.  FMI: 463-2503.
Saturday, July 25
5:30 – 10:30 a.m. – Breakfast to benefit Josh Rockwell sponsored by IF Free Wheelers ATV Club at Fish ‘N Game Club, $5/person.
9:00-11:00a-Bake Sale at Jerry’s Thriftway with proceeds to benefit purchase of new playground equipment.  Bake and donate for cause, call Ruth at 463-2263.
9 a.m. – Island Falls Canoe/Kayak Race at Pleasant Pond, register at Birch Point, $10/person, proceeds: Dollars for Scholars, FMI: 463-2515.
11 a.m. – Dewey Webb Memorial Co-ED Horseshoe Tournament, $5/fee, held at Big Valley Sno Club, participants encouraged to bring non-perishable foods items for donation – proceeds to Agape Food Pantry. FMI: Bob 463-2155.
12p.m. – 4 p.m. – 25th Anniversary Celebration Vacationland Estates.  Free outdoor concert, refreshments and games for all ages.
1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Barber Shoppers Performance at Municipal Bldg sponsored by IF Rec and St Agnes /St. Pauls Parishes.  $10/ticket, to purchase call Jackie at 463-2625 or Evelyn 463-2440.
3:30 p.m. – Family Entertainer Wendel Hudson @ Municipal Building. Donations accepted.Sponsored by IF Rec.
8 p.m. – 1a.m. – Benefit dance for Josh Rockwell. DJ Joey White.  $5/person.  Donations accepted.
Sunday, July 26
10 a.m. – Supreme Court Jester’s-Adrian Hagerstrom,Baptist Park Director,will be at I.F.Baptist Church sharing juggling & illusions with gospel message.
12:30 p.m. – Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament.  Co-ed teams only.  Municipal bldg.  $2/person, 5 person teams.  Register by calling Cheryl@ 463-2246.
1 p.m. – Kiddie Parade. Start at Bishop’s Market ends at Municipal Building.  Children’s storybook character theme encouraged for participants.  Prizes will be awarded. Sponsored by IF Playground Committee.
3 p.m. – Pet Show-admission $2.  All animals must be on a leash. Judged for talent, obedience, best in show and best dressed for Summerfest theme, children’s storybook characters.  Sponsored by IF Rec.  To register, call Patty at 463-2227 or 463-2263.

2p.m. – 4 p.m. – Plant/Book Swap, Municipal Building.  Bring plants or books to trade with others.  Anything brought in must be taken out by owner. Sponsored by IF Rec.
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Games on ball field.  Soccer kick, skillet throw, and softball toss.  Prizes to be awarded. Sponsored by IF Rec.
5:30 p.m. -Steak Supper at IF Fish & Game Club, $12.50/adults, $6/12 and under.
8 p.m. – Public Dance, Craig’s Main Course presents the Midnight Rose Band, $8 at the door, $6 tickets purchased in advance, FMI: 463-2425.
Saturday, August 1

8:45 a.m. – 1/2 mile walk for ages under 7 years.

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. – VFW Chicken BBQ, $8/person.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Fair Food Fundraiser, Green Valley Special Olympics. Pizza/pie sales.
