Frances (Brennan) Rogan Bartlett

    MILLINOCKET and BENEDICTA – Frances (Brennan) Rogan Bartlett, 98, died July 27, 2009, in Millinocket, with her family at her side. She was born May 8, 1911, in Benedicta, the daughter of James and Catherine (Cummings) Brennan. Frances had worked at sporting camps in Greenville.
    She is survived by four children, Carlton and Shirley Rogan of Millinocket, Gert and Ned Thibodeau of Millinocket, Mary Sleeper of York Village and James and Mary Ann Rogan of York Beach; a daughter-in-law, Alice Rogan of Sherman; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one niece and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husbands, John Rogan and Theodore Bartlett; one son, Guy Rogan; one grandson, Patrick Rogan; two brothers and three sisters.
    Friends called 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Benedicta, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday with Father Dave Raymond, celebrant.
