The St. John Valley Seniors Golf Tournament was played at Limestone Country Club on July 22, with 97 participating.
The low gross winner was Kerry “Jud” Giberson of Covered Bridge Golf Club with an 81 and low net winner was Gary Aiken of Limestone with a 62.
Division A gross winners were Giberson, Covered Bridge, 81; Harold Clark, Presque Isle, 84 and Charles Violette, Presque Isle, 85. Net, Harry Orser, Mars Hill, 71; Mike Fleming, Houlton, 73 and Stephen Sweetser, Presque Isle, 74.
Division B gross winners: Bruce Fitzpatrick, Caribou, 83; Mike Gagnon, Caribou, 84 and Ron Arbeau, Covered Bridge, 85. Net, Doug Hallett, Caribou, Mike O’Regan, Grand Falls and Bill Casavant, Presque Isle, all 72s.
