Chamberlain, Mae V., 65, Connor Twp and Caribou, at Bangor, August 15, 2009. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. August 20, from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

Image    Connor Twp and Caribou – Mae V. Chamberlain, 65, wife of the late Gilman Chamberlain, died unexpectedly August 15, 2009, at Bangor. She was born in Caribou May 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Paul and Caroline (King) Thibodeau. Mae was a lifelong member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
    Mae is survived by her son Kevin Chamberlain and his wife Paula of Raymond, N.H.,  two daughters, Karen Chamberlain and Lynn Jones and her husband Brian all of Connor, two brothers, Fr. Clement Thibodeau of Caribou and Robert Thibodeau and his wife Betty of Raymond, N.H. , three sisters; Maxine Bell and her husband Gilbert and Joan Bishop all of Caribou and Rachel Saucier of Southington, Ct., five grandchildren Erin and Gilman Chamberlain and Jensen, Jarred and Jaedon Jones, Mae’s special companion of many years, Robert Allen of Connor, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Chamberlain was predeceased by her husband Gilman in 1973 and three brothers, Mack, Frank and Leo Thibodeau.
    Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009, from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, with Mae’s brother, Fr Clement Thibodeau, officiating assisted by Fr. Aaron Damboise. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Mae was blessed by the receipt of a donated kidney, but prior to that she was on kidney dialysis for a number of years. She and her family will never forget the love and compassion shown to her during this time by the staff of the County Dialysis Center in Presque Isle and for this reason they suggest that those who wish to contribute in her memory may do so through the County Dialysis Center, 21 North St., Presque Isle, Maine 04769 or envelopes are available at the funeral home.
