You can play a vital part for a happy ending
CHAPTER I – State-of-the-Art Imaging Equipment
The story begins with highly sensitive scans allowing for quicker, more effective diagnosis and treatment, giving patients greater peace of mind and in most cases a better quality of life. Sophisticated software averages 20-minute scans, not 40, and equipment equals, and in some instances, surpasses equipment used in larger hospitals. But the best part of it all, patients are able to stay at home with family and friends and they do not have to travel. WHAT A SUCCESS.
CHAPTER II – Expansion/Renovation
“Our new bricks will not simply be just walls, they will create a brand new world to provide the proper environment for patient care,” said Elizabeth Dulin, Foundation executive director. “It will also be a place of learning for someone seeking a career in the field of Nuclear Medicine or for that someone who may just become a future healthcare leader.”
The expansion/renovation of the current Nuclear Medicine/Radiology Department will address critical privacy/comfort issues facing the current Radiology Department. A contribution or pledge to this vitally needed piece of the project will absolutely improve the quality of healthcare for our area and everyone having to use this facility will be truly grateful.
The ability of the Foundation to assist with today’s healthcare issues comes from enormous donor generosity that has allowed $1.4 million to be returned to our communities for vital healthcare needs. Every Foundation donor has helped to take charge of his or her healthcare today and for the future, and now we ask everyone to help us write: Let’s finish the “Happily ever after ending” to the whole story. Donations may be sent to: The Health Services Foundation, PO Box 1231, Houlton, ME.
