Senior network field engineer
PORTLAND — U.S. Cellular recently promoted Kirk Fongemie to senior network field engineer for the state of Maine. In this position, Fongemie’s responsibilities will include region-wide special project leadership, providing feedback and coaching to peers on technical issues, and continuing to contribute to network operational excellence by developing and sharing best practices with the engineering team, market and company.

Fongemie, a Frenchville native, started his career with U.S. Cellular in 2001. Most recently, he served as U.S. Cellular’s network field engineer. Fongemie has also held the position of service technician with the company. He resides in Scarborough with his wife, Eileen, and his son, Kieran.

PORTLAND — U.S. Cellular recently promoted Lindsay Robinson to associate relations representative for New England. In this position, Robinson’s responsibilities will include compensation assistance, associate communications, benefits and enrollment escalations, and legal compliance. Working with more than 300 associates, she will provide day-to-day human resources support and implement company-wide initiatives, policies, and procedures.
“Lindsay’s experience in the human resources field, combined with her passion and enthusiasm to support the New England market, will help associates accelerate the positive momentum of the dynamic organization,” said Eric Conlon, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in New England. “We are excited to have someone with this dedication and commitment serving our associates.”
She will be responsible for more than 300 U.S. Cellular associates throughout New Hampshire and Maine, including those in Presque Isle.
Robinson started her career with U.S. Cellular in 2007. Most recently, she served as U.S. Cellular’s administrative assistant to the director of sales, where she was responsible for clerical support, human resources and office management. Prior to joining U.S. Cellular®, Robinson held human resource positions with DirecTECH and Cole Haan. She received her bachelor degree in business management with an emphasis on human resources from Marist College in New York. Robinson resides in Portland.
