Patten Recreation Director Melissa Strang has reported the following results for the Patten Pioneer Days celebration held Aug. 3-9.
Crowned as 2009 Pioneer Day royalty were: Jr. Miss Pioneer Alyssa Falanka; Little Miss Pioneer Mercedes Strang; and Mini Miss Pioneer Jayden Locke.
Craig Hartsgrove won $265 in the Cow Patty Bingo game.
John McNally, age 7 and up, and Emma McNally, age 6 and under, won the Frog Jumping Contest.
Shannon Shaw and Nic Randell were first and second respectively in the Pie Eating Contest.
Tied for first place in the Foul Shooting Contest were Shiloh Shaw and Nic Randell. Sierra Strang came in second.
