    Mark Jago, left, retired as head of school at Greater Houlton Christian Academy and welcomed John Bishop as the new head of school at the recent open house for parents, teachers and students. Both educators agreed that the anticipated dual accreditation of the school by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as well as the Association of Christian Schools is a way to verify to parents that GHCA is meeting widely recognized criteria. Jago said Bishop “comes to GHCA with experience in academia and education. He will know how to take the school to the next level.” Bishop added that he had heard about the school’s fine work back in his hometown of Charlton, New York and that Jago “has built a great foundation.”
