CARIBOU — Over 130 individuals attended the musical event Music for Life and Hope at the Caribou Performing Arts Center on Oct. 2 to listen to the local musical styles of Elizabeth Rhyno, Jeremey Hale and Mark Shaw. All proceeds from the Christian artist-inspired concert went to the Pregnancy Care Center of Aroostook County.

Local Christian artist Jeremy Hale of Caribou entertained an audience of over 130 spectators while he played and sang music with Elizabeth Rhyno and Mark Shaw during the Music for Life and Hope concert that took place on Oct. 2 at the Caribou Performing Arts Center.

After releasing their cd’s this past summer and hoping to ‘be a blessing to other people,’ Jeremey Hale contacted Christie Corey of the Pregnancy Care Center.
“They asked if they could do a benefit concert for the Center, and of course were thrilled,” Corey said. “All of the songs are written by the Christian artists and they’re songs with great meaning.”
Corey was looking forward to having an opportunity to speak with the audience about the Pregnancy Care Center during the concert.
While the attendance seemed to be indicative of a successful turnout, Corey was neither pleased nor dissapointed.
“I’ve learned to embrace the people who come and rejoice with them,” she said.
