The Mapleton Lions Club put on the fundraiser and many businesses donated to the cause. Matt Gregg served as the auctioneer.
“This was a great fundraiser for us,” said Sophie Willette, a team member. “Everyone had a great time and we raised money for our cause.”
Team member Whitney Michaud said “support has been exceptional thus far and we are excited to meet our goal and play hockey.”
Lions Club members Tim Graham, Spanky White, Steven Hanning and Dennis Hoffses were others who helped make the dinner-auction a success.
