There will be a baked bean supper at the Mapleton United Methodist Church Saturday, Oct. 24. Supper will be served from 5-6:30 p.m. followed by a hymn sing. Tickets will be $7 for adults and $4 for children, and can be purchased at the door. Proceeds will benefit projects at the church.

Auction Items
The Mapleton Daze Committee will be holding its annual bean supper and auction Saturday, Nov. 7. The committee is collecting items for the auction, including craft items or donations from local businesses. If you would like to contribute, please contact Julie Powers at 540-1097.
Society members will be selling VIP tickets for the Aroostook Centre Mall again this year. Tickets will be $3 and shopping will take place Sunday, Nov. 15. Special sales will be held throughout the Mall. Please see any member to purchase your tickets. All profits will benefit the Society.
The Society meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month from February through November. The next meeting has been scheduled for Oct. 27 with the board of directors meeting at 6:30 p.m. and the regular meeting to follow.
The United Methodist Church luncheon will be held Friday, Oct. 16 at 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
