    Bangor – Anne C. Doescher, 60, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, in Bangor, following a brief battle with cancer. She was born April 15, 1949, at Houlton, the daughter of Fred and Ginny (Clay) Doescher.
    Anne graduated from Houlton High School and the University of Maine, Orono. Upon graduation, she went to work for K-Mart, which she thoroughly enjoyed and stayed for over 35 years.
    Anne is survived by her mother; one brother, Brian Doescher of New Limerick, his daughters Tiffany and Kristen; two sisters, Nancy Hughes of Topsham, her sons Darren and Cody, Debbie Dubois and her husband David of Hollis, their daughters Kimberly, Samantha and Jessica; a nephew, Ryan Doescher. She was predeceased by her father and her brother, Jay Doescher.
    A private memorial service will be held for Anne at a later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Anne’s memory to the Houlton Humane Society or an animal shelter of your choice, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, 04730.
