The 24th annual Turkey Trot 5K Road Race will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 at Caribou High School, with walkers setting off at 9:45 a.m. and runners at 10 a.m. The out-and-back 3.1-mile race, sponsored by Cary Medical Center, offers registration beginning at 9 a.m. in the gymnasium lobby. The fee is $10 and includes a long-sleeved T-shirt to the first 60 to register. Post-race ceremonies include the traditional turkey-topped pizza and awards presented to the fastest walkers and the race winners and age division winners in three categories for runners.
