First aid training set

    The Aroostook County Branch of the American Red Cross-Pine Tree Chapter is offering CPR, First Aid, and AED trainings on Saturday, Dec, 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Chan Center at Cary Medical Center, 163 Van Buren Road in Caribou.     Participants will learn how to perform CPR and care for respiratory and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants.  First aid skills include treating a variety of injuries such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries; and heat and cold-related emergencies. Also included are ways to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites, and poisoning.

     Seating is limited and all paid registrations must be received in the Caribou Red Cross office no later than Wednesday, Dec. 9.
