    HOULTON – The following cases were heard in the District Court in Houlton during the month of January.

    Michael P. Bither, 43, Houlton: operating under the influence, $500 fine and 90-day license suspension; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 48 hours in jail and $1,099.95 restitution.
    Chase W. Bourgoin, 25, Littleton: using artificial light to illuminate wild animals, $200 fine; possession of marijuana, $350 fine.
    Wesley Churchill, 29, Fort Fairfield: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 50 hours’ community service.
    Raymond E. Conway, 58, Miramichi, N.B.: rule violation operating after disqualified, $500 fine.
    Daniel J. Corey, 49, Monticello: failing to produce permit, $50 fine.
    Benjamin P. Cullen, 31, Patten: using artificial light to illuminate wild animals (two counts), $200 fine (each count).
    Lee Dawes, 23, Houlton: operating vehicle without license, $250 fine; attaching false plates, $100 fine.
    Dead River Oil Company, Houlton: violation of hazardous material regulation, $250 fine.
    John W. Delong, 47, Bridgewater: possessing unregistered deer, $200 fine.

    Lisa G. Duff, 40, Ludlow: OUI, $500 fine and 90-day license suspension.
    Edward Stevens, 58, Dyer Brook: operating watercraft to molest animal or bird, $250 fine.
    Galen A. Flewelling, 41, Saco: possession of anterless deer (two counts) $200 fine (each count) and illegal transportation of animal or bird, dismissed.
    Gary Flewelling, 63, Monticello: passing stopped school bus, $250 fine.
    Derek D. Foster, 28, Bridgewater: disorderly conduct, fighting, $100 fine.
    Jean-Francois Goupil, 27, Sherbrooke, Que.: possession of marijuana, $350 fine; sale and use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.

    Krista L. Maguire, 26, Houlton: operating while license suspended or revoked, filed without costs.
    James K. Manoukian, 83, Bridgewater: OUI (three counts), dismissed (first count), $500 fine, 364 days in jail with all but 48 hours suspended, 90-day license suspension (second count), $500 fine (third count); violating condition of release, $200 fine.
    Andrew J. McCluskey, 21, Smyrna: allowing minor to possess or consume liquor, filed on $200 costs.
    Christian M. McDonald, 21, Oakfield: theft by receiving stolen property, dismissed.
