RAYMOND, NH – Anna Mae Shaw, 90, died February 6, 2010 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Derry, NH after a period of failing health. She was born April 7, 1919 in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Benjamin) Sennett.
Anna grew up in Mars Hill, ME. She met and later married Ernest T. Shaw. They settled in Exeter, NH for 27 years and moved to North Hampton, NH from 1963-1970. Anna worked for many years with Sylvania and retired in 1984. They moved to Raymond, NH to be closer to their daughter and some of the grandchildren.
Mrs. Shaw was predeceased by two sons, Lawrence Edward Shaw and Robert Ernest Shaw, and one daughter, Sonja Marie Chouinard.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Ernest T. Shaw of Raymond, NH, six grandchildren, 15 great-grand-children, and three great-great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held in the Spring at the Central Cemetery, North Hampton, NH.
