With weather getting warmer and the signs of summer on the way, we all want to spend a little more time outside, as the winter cold has kept all of us closed up for months.
Parents please don’t forget that Houlton has a curfew ordinance. Your kids are important to us, and we want to work with you to keep them safe. When you know where your kids are, there’s that feeling of security, and peace that we all want in our hectic lives. Getting your kids to buy into the fact that there is a curfew in Houlton, not only makes them that much safer, but it instills in them responsibility, and that feeling of doing the right thing. You know yourself that in seeing a group of kids out late at night, your thoughts are, “What are those kids up to”. So Houlton PD invites you parents, and others to help us to help you, make this a great community to live.
