Wildcat athletes receive Big Cheese honor
The Presque Isle High School Varsity Club and Big Cheese Pizza are pleased to congratulate volleyball players Meredith Stewart and Trey Stewart for being selected as athletes of the week for the week of March 8-12.
With their strong serves and play at the net, Meredith and Trey led the girls and boys volleyball teams to wins over Fort Fairfield.
Courtney Colligan and Logan Good received the honor for the week of March 15-20.
Colligan’s all-around play was instrumental in leading the girls volleyball team to a first-place finish at the 2010 Aroostook League Volleyball Championship. At one point, Colligan served 23 consecutive points to close out a game against Houlton.
Logan’s performance was key to the success the boys volleyball team had this season.
