Students at the New Sweden Elementary School performed a drama production “Miss Nelson is Missing” in February. Practicing since the start of the school year, the students realized the hard work paid off when they performed for parents and students and showed off their acting skills both on the stage and off. Under the guidance of Mrs. Plante (grade 5 & 6 teacher), Mr. Easter (grade 7 & 8 teacher) and Mrs. Holmes (Union 122 music teacher) all students were able to participate in sound, props, stage crew, technology, speaking parts, non-speaking parts, make-up, or costumes.
