LIMESTONE — It’s never to early to talk about Fourth of July festivities — especially when you live in Limestone. The Greater Limestone Chamber of Commerce will be holding their first Fourth of July meeting on Monday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the town office to begin planning the highly anticipated series of celebratory events by establishing a timeline and appointing event chairmen. As important as it is for a timeline to be established and chairs named, arguably the most important aspect of the meeting will be the opportunity for any and all individuals interested in airingtheir ideas regarding improvements to the annual Fourth of July events in Limestone. All constructive suggestions are welcome and encouraged.
The parade, the fireworks, the street dance and princess tea — it takes a town’s cooperation to ensure a flawless and festive Fourth. Additional information can be obtained by calling Chamber President Scott Caldwell at 325-8802 or Vice President Joe Lapierre at 325-2583.
