The Upper St. John Valley Senior Golf Association opened its season with a tournament at Grand Falls, N.B. on June 16, with a field of 139 players. Winning low gross score of 72 was Edmundston, N.B.’s Jacques Garant and taking the low net score of 60 was Wally Polchies of the Covered Bridge.
