Perham man wins Cross Lake fishing derby
Sportsmen Inc. held its annual fishing derby at Cross Lake Landing. The event covers the Fish River Chain area.
The largest salmon was caught by Michael Maynard of Perham and weighed in at 4 lbs., 8 oz. Second place went to Ronnie Ouellette of Caribou. His fish weighed 3 lbs., 12 oz.
First place in the trout category went to Clarence Rossignol of Stockholm with a weight of 1 lb., 10 oz. In second was Bo Grant of Camden at 1 lb., 3 oz.
Cash drawings were won by Ron Sites of Mapleton and Peter Bourgoin of Madawaska Lake.
