UM players working at Tiger Camp

FORT FAIRFIELD – Tiger Basketball Camp director Larry Gardner is pleased to announce the addition of University of Maine women’s basketball players Tanna Ross and Samantha Wheeler to the staff.

“We are very fortunate to have two outstanding Maine players coming to our camp to work with our those young players attending camp,” Gardner said. “Both Tanna and Samantha are hard working, positive role models and a great addition to our staff. They will bring a lot of knowledge of what the college game is like and will certainly be able to relate to the young kids at camp who really enjoy talking with these athletes”
Maine Coach Cindy Blodgett said “Tanna is a great ambassador for the University of Maine and the women’s basketball program. Tanna’s greatest asset is her love for the game of basketball. She had the opportunity to experience success at the collegiate level last season. We’re expecting her to build off that success and be more consistent this season.”
