    LITTLETON – Luther M. Grass, 80, died June 19, 2010 at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 5, 1929 in Littleton, the son of John A. and Lona (Delong) Grass.
    Luther graduated from Ricker Classical Institute, Class of 1947 and then went to Higgins College for three years. He served in the Army Air Force for three years, was a fire fighter and spent most of his life working as a long haul truck driver.
    Luther is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathleen (Plourde) Grass of Littleton; his son, James Grass and his companion, Jill of Nashua, NH, his daughter, Judy O’Dell and her husband, Mike of Herndon, VA; two grandchildren, James O’Dell of VA, Eric Grass of AR; three brothers, John Grass, Jr. and his wife, Mary Lou of Monticello, Norman Grass and Paula Smith of Littleton, Robert Grass and his wife, Bobbie of CA; two sisters, Joanne Digman and her husband, Roy of PA, Pearl London and her husband, Bob of Hodgdon; many nieces and nephews.
    A private interment will take place at a later date. Gifts may be made in Luther’s memory to the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, ME 04730.
