The 23rd annual Swedish Pancake Breakfast will be held from 6 to 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 3 at the Axel Siding Aroostook Brigade Lodge in Stockholm. The menu will include pancakes, strawberries, ham and bean-hole-beans. Parade-goers are encouraged to fuel-up on pancakes and all the fixings before lining up for the annual parade which is also being held on July 3.
According to parade organizers, line-up will be on Lake Street and the always entertaining parade will commence at 11 a.m. Anyone wishing to be a participant instead of a viewer is welcome to join the ranks.
Following the parade hotdogs and burgers will be available at the Perkins/Plourde American Legion Hall. The Mad River Duck Race will also take place at the end of the parade.
