Here’s news — An unidentified motorcycle tourist departed from Houlton somewhat irate and probably with an exaggerated opinion of the wilds of Maine. While traveling on North Street in the residential section he collided with a young doe deer that leaped in front of his machine without warning, was catapulted to the street and suffered painful injuries and bruises. The deer feels much the same way about the motorist, however, because the young animal suffered a broken leg and had to be shot by Chief Lincoln McGaw.
