The Caribou Lions Club will be hosting its monthly summer bean-hole-bean supper on Wednesday, July 21 at the Collins Pond picnic area.

This month all proceeds from the event will benefit the members of Caribou Boy Scout Troop 184, who will be attending the 2010 National  Boy Scout Jamboree in Virginia at the end of this month.

Troop 184 Boy Scouts will be going door- to-door pre-selling quarts and pints of beans, coleslaw as well as entire supper entrees which will include; beans, coleslaw, hotdogs and a roll. All pre-sold orders will be delivered on July 21.

The supper at the picnic area will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Dinners will be $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and children under 12.

Pre-orders may also be placed by calling 551-7044.

The trip to the National Jamboree is a worthwhile, once-in-a-lifetime adventure for area Boy Scouts and everyone is encouraged to show their support by enjoying a true County favorite — bean-hole- beans with all the fixings.
