CARIBOU – The annual Musterd Mile was held July 9, with 35 competitors meeting for this year’s event, sponsored by the Aroostook Musterds Running Club.

P.J. Gorneault of Caribou set the pace and had a winning time of 4 minutes and 25 seconds. The women’s winner was Susan Plissey of Presque Isle, who finished in 5:46 and was 15th overall.
The overall runner-up was Thomas Beckum, also of Caribou, whose time was 4:33. Evan Graves of Caribou was third in 4:39, followed by Christian Sleeper and Tim Freme with times of 4:40 and 4:48, respectively.
Rounding out the top 10 were D.J. Flynn, 4:59; Brian Powers, 5:00; Jesse Sandstrom, 5:11; Jacob Michaud, 5:14; and Charm Karunasiri, 5:34.
