CULLINS, Glenna (Jewett), 93, Huntsville, AL, February 17, 2010. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle.
Glenna (Jewett) Cullins, 93, passed away at home in Huntsville, AL, on February 17, 2010, surrounded by her family. Glenna was born in Bloomfield, NB, in 1916, the daughter of Frank and Effie (Smith) Jewett. She graduated from Provincial Teachers College in Fredericton, NB, in 1934. Glenna and her husband, Mansfield, had two daughters, Louise and Lorraine; and a son, Floyd. She and “Manny” lived in Presque Isle for 26 years before moving to Meridan, CT, near her son Floyd and his family. In 2007, Glenna moved to Huntsville, AL, where she made her home with her daughter Lorraine and her husband Richard. Glenna was a member of the Congregational Church in Meriden, CT, and was known for her homemade donuts at every May 1st church breakfast.
Glenna is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Louise) Turner of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Mrs. Richard (Lorraine) Donovan of Huntsville, AL; a special duaghter-in-law, Mrs. Floyd (Anita) Cullins of Wolcott, Conn; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Glenna was predeceased by her husband, Mansfield E. Cullins; a son, Floyd W. Cullins; and great-grandson, Bryant Richard Donovan.
Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle.
