CHURCHILL, Katherine Jane, 40, FORT FAIRFIELD, July 12, 2010. Arrangements are in the care of Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.
FORT FAIRFIELD – Katherine Jane Churchill, 40, on July 12, 2010, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at the home of her parents after an extended illness. She was born June 30, 1970, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Robert W. and Sylvia P. (Gallupe) Churchill.
Kathy was a member of the Easton Pentecostal Church and was actively involved at the Whited Bible Camp of Bridgewater for over 30 years. She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1988, and the Zion Bible Institute, Class of 1994 of Providence, Rhode Island. She was employed by Burrelle’s Press Clipping Service of Presque Isle for over twenty years. Kathy was a young lady who loved life and who never met a stranger, and she loved her cokes and chocolate “awful awful’s” and her mom’s homemade chocolate sauce.
She is survived by her parents, Robert W. and Sylvia P. Churchill, of Fort Fairfield; four sisters, Sherry Cunningham of Fort Fairfield, Colleen Barkley and her husband Jeffrey of Charlotte, NC, Karen Cushman and her husband Nolan of Mars Hill, Carolyn Gammon and her husband Jason of South Portland; six nephews; three nieces; three grand nephews and one grand niece.
Kathy was predeceased by one sister, Karen Lynn Churchill.

Friends called Thursday, July 15, 2010, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Easton Pentecostal Church, 33 Bangor Road, Easton, with the Pastor Richard Bell, Pastor Andrew DeRier, and Pastor David McIntyre co-officiating. Interment was conducted at the Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Kathy to the Whited Bible Camp, P.O. Box 91, Bridgewater, 04735. Envelopes will be available at both the funeral home and church.
