Sometimes all it takes is one person to care, one person to speak up or one person to move into action to make a big difference in the life of an animal. Animals have no voice, they depend on us to protect them, care for them and speak up for them, and as their caregivers that is our duty. If you see an animal in distress, call and report it. If you can lend some friendly pet advice to someone, do so. Set a good example for your children, volunteer, be a part of the solution to end animal suffering.

How very true this is. It just takes one person to get the ball rolling, but once it is rolling, just look at the awesome things we can do together as a team.
Do you ever cook for your pet or make them treats? I am always looking for re-copies for interesting pet treats. I found these treat recipes; check these out:
1 banana, broken into pieces
2 Tbs peanut butter
1 Tbs honey
1-2 mini ice cube trays
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl with a hand mixer. Divide among mini ice cube trays. Freeze. To serve, pop out of tray and place in your dog’s food. Store in the freezer. Makes approx. two dozen pops.
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
5 tbs grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
1/4 cup cornmeal
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine cheeses and yogurt. Add flour and cornmeal. If needed, add a small amount of water to create a nice dough. Knead dough into a ball and roll to 1/4 inch. Cut into one-inch-sized pieces and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 25 minutes. Makes two dozen.
