Results of playoff and all-star games in the Caribou Little League, played through July 17, follow:

Sleepers won the game, 7-5. Game two was scheduled for Tuesday, with game 3 set for Thursday if necessary.

All-star game results: 9-10 year-old game, American Division 19, National Division 17; 11-12 year-old game, American Division 6, National Division 3.

Summaries of the all-star games and some playoff games and regular season games follow:

American Division 6, National Division 3

In the 11- and 12-year-old all-star game, played Saturday, Nick Pelletier, Michael Hunter, Mason Huck and Justin Ouellette had hits during a three-run rally in the seventh inning, lifting the American Division to the victory.

Huck drove home Connor Plourde and Hunter with a two-out hit in the fourth inning to give the Americans a 2-0 lead. The National Division clawed back with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings, the first coming on Ashton Beaver’s RBI single that scored Ben Ezzy and the second run came across when Zachary Wright singled and scored on a wild pitch.

The American Division held a 3-2 lead before tacking on the three late runs. The Nationals did not quit as Brayden Burby scored on a sacrifice following a Nolan Powers single in the seventh, but that was all they could muster.

Gunnar Bondeson, Paul Hanson and Brian Corbin combined on the pitching duties for the winners. Tyler Dombroski tossed three shutout innings as the National Division’s starter on the mound.

American Division 19, National Division 17

The 9- and 10-year-old contest was more of a slugfest, with the American Division plating 14 runs in the first inning before hanging on at the end.

The Nationals scored seven times in the final inning, but fell two runs short.

Noah Frost, Nic Sleeper and Gabe Rand combined for seven of the American’s 13 hits in the game.

Bailey Griffeth and Matt Nadeau combined for five hits for the National Division all-stars.

Savings Bank of Maine 9, S. W. Collins 6

Tyler Raymond, Jacob Burby, Brayden Burby and Caleb Willett scored two runs apiece as Savings Bank of Maine won Thursday’s National Division championship tilt.

Gabe Massey had an RBI single and Donovan Savage pitched well to lead Collins.

Savings Bank of Maine 18, Shop ‘n Save 3

Spencer St. Peter doubled and singled and Kyle Tibbetts singled, as the pair combined to score four runs as Savings Bank of Maine prevailed in the July 14 National Division semifinal.

Sebastian Marquis and Jaelynn Doody both had doubles and scored a run each, while Karlee Willett had her first-ever Little League hit to help the offense.

Brayden Burby caught a great game for the winners.

Ashton Beaver, Ben Ezzy and Colton Conley all scored runs for Shop ‘n Save.

Key Bank 13, K of C 3

Key Bank won the American Division semifinal game played July 13 behind the pitching of Paul Hanson, who struck out 10 batters in his 5-2/3 innings of work.

Hanson also lifted the winning offense with two hits, two runs and three RBIs. Austin Scott and Noah Frost added two hits each. Justin Reiff contributed a two-run double.

Ricky Sheldon and Nic Sleeper had two hits each for the Knights.

Shop ‘n Save 26, VFW 7

In National Division quarterfinal action played July 12, Shop ‘n Save bested VFW thanks to a strong hitting attack. Axios Gerakaris went 5 for 6 with four triples and five RBIs to lead the way, while Ashton Beaver homered, tripled and doubled and knocked in six.

Colton Conley had three hits and four Shop ‘n Save players added two apiece in the rout. Gerakaris, Ben Ezzy and Caleb Brown combined on the pitching.

Nolan Powers had two hits and scored three runs, while Evan Desmond had two hits for VFW.

Police 24, Woodland Eagles 4

The Police won its first-round playoff game on July 12 by scoring 10 times in the fourth inning to break open a close game to that point.

Reece McDougal went 4 for 4 with three doubles, while Dylan Lamothe and Bailey Griffeth also had multiple-hit games.

Hunter Milliard and Jordan Doody had two hits each for the Eagles.

Savings Bank of Maine 6, S. W. Collins 3

In the tie-breaker to decide the regular season champion in the National Division, Savings Bank of Maine doubled up on Collins in the July 9 contest.

Caleb Willett tripled and singled and scored twice to lead the victors, while Donovan Savage singled and scored a run for S. W. Collins.

Sleepers 15, Key Bank 5

In a regular season game played July 3, Sleepers bested their division rivals thanks to an eight-run sixth inning that broke the game wide open.

Justin Ouellette’s four hits led Sleepers at the plate. Riley McDuffie scored three runs after reaching base safely four times.

Nick Frost had two singles and a triple to lead Key offensively.

Sleepers 14, K of C 6

Sleepers wrapped up the regular season as the Caribou Little League’s lone undefeated team, besting the Knights in the July 6 contest.

Camden Huck and Michael Hunter had three hits each to lead the 15-hit attack. Nine-year-old Camden Huck slammed a two-run double in the second inning to help break the game open.

Bradley Doody slammed a solo home run over the fence for K of C, while Nic Sleeper added two hits. Connor Plourde came up with the defensive play of the game with an outstanding catch of a ball in center field off the bat of Justin Ouellette.
