John Hedman, superintendent of School Union 122, which includes the towns of New Sweden, Stockholm, T16-R4, Westmanland and Woodland, has announced that the 2010-11 school year for students in grades K-8 will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 1. Woodland School
School hours will be 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Kindergarten classes will be held in the afternoons from noon to 2:30 p.m. The pre-school program is scheduled from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
Lunch and breakfast prices are as follows: full lunch, $1.75; reduced lunch, 40 cents; full breakfast, $1.20; milk, 30 cents; and adult lunches $3.45
