Only the name has changed
PRESQUE ISLE – Hayden/Perry Agency, along with its affiliate agencies, is now known as United Insurance, one united insurance agency serving the people of Maine at 14 locations throughout the state. Though the name has changed, the company still provides the same management, same friendly, professional and experienced staff, and offers the same services that customers have come to expect.
With the company’s origins dating back to 1889, Calvin Deschene, senior vice president and agency manager, said it’s the strong relationships with their clients and the community that has kept the business in operation for more than 120 years.
“Retention of our customers is the foundation of our company,” he said. “Only through friendly and a consistently high level of customer service can this be achieved.”
United Insurance offers three distinct types of insurance including personal insurance (automobile, homeowners, renters, motorcycles, boats, all-terrain vehicles, motor homes, etc.), commercial insurance (property, liability, auto, workers compensation and more), and group benefits (medical, employee benefits, retirement planning, life insurance, disability insurance, etc.).
