EASTON, Pa. – Pierce E. Nichols, 75, of Easton, Pa., formerly of Caribou, died Friday, September 3, 2010, at home. Pierce was born December 14, 1934, in Buckland, Mass., the son of the late Everett and the late Mae Winegar Nichols. He proudly served from 1952 to 1956 in the US Navy during the Korean War and from 1957 to 1961 in the US Air Force. He worked most of his career as a truck driver before retiring.
He is survived by one son, Tracey and his wife, Peggy Nichols of Caribou; one daughter, Tammi Nichols-Myer of Phillipsburg, N.J.; five granddaughters, Casey and Michelle Nichols of Caribou and Anna Marie, Sara Elizabeth, and Jena Lynn Myer of Phillipsburg, N.J.; also survived by Sheila Nichols of Phillipsburg, N.J.
