Two charged in Limestone theft

According to officials with the Limestone Police Department on Sept.4 at 5:29 p.m. LPD Officer Tim Morrison responded to a report of a theft at 175 Ward Road.

Upon arriving at the residence the victim told Officer Morrison that approximately $10,000 worth of farm equipment and various metal had been taken.

Investigator John DeVeau, also with the Limestone Police Department, assisted Officer Morrison with the investigation and on Sept. 14 they arrested and charged Ricky Roussel, 32, of Limestone for theft class C and violation of conditional release on $1,000 unsecured bail.  

On Thursday, Sept.16, Investigator Deveau announced that that morning Limestone police officers arrested Norman Johndro, 34, of Caribou for class C theft in connection with the Ward Road theft.

Information obtained during the investigation showed that Roussel and Johndro went to the Ward Road farm where they allegedly stole approximately $10,000 worth of farm equipment.
