Nason Mechanical Systems awards scholarships
AUBURN — Nason Mechanical Systems Scholarship Committee recently awarded academic scholarships from the Harry E. Nason, Jr. and Frances J. Nason Scholarship Trust to four children and spouses of employees of the company. The trust was established in 2006 and became available upon the passing of Frances in 2009. Both Harry and Francis had a deep appreciation for post-secondary education, and having been former owners of Nason Mechanical Systems, established this scholarship to thank the many loyal and dedicated employees of the company.
Local scholarship recipients include: Rebecca Bouchard, of Presque Isle, attending the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
