Aimee’s Race set for October
    Aimee’s Race” Fall Soap Box Derby Rally will be held on October 2-3 at Derby Hill in Community Park, Houlton.

Rifle, pistol club to meet
    The monthly meeting of the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club will be held on Oct. 3 at the HRPC range located adjacent to the Houlton International Airport. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with recreational shooting to follow. All members are encouraged to attend.
Officiating class begins Sept. 27
    A basketball officiating school for prospective officials will be held by IAABO Board 150 at Presque Isle High School beginning Sept. 27. The class will be held Mondays from 7-9 p.m. and the fee is $40. Contact Harry Orser at 425-4451 or visit the website www.iaabo150.org for more information.
