Patten Fire

The home of Billy Jo McGraw and her three children was destroyed by fire Thursday. All of their personal belongings were also lost in the blaze, which was battled by the Patten Fire Department with assistance from surrounding towns. The fire started in the kitchen area of the home. The Patten Recreation Department is taking donations for the family, either monetary or articles of clothing/items. McGraw’s three children are ages 15, 16, and 17. A benefit supper is planned for Thursday, Sept. 30, 4:30-7 p.m. at the Spetson Memorial United Methodist Church in Patten.
