Four members of the Caribou Boy Scout Troop 184 — Danny Powers, Kyle Tibbetts, Marc Sturzl and Keith Draper — were guests at the Sept. 30 meeting of the Limestone Rotary Club to regale the Rotarians with stories of their recent trip to the National Jamboree in Washington D.C. which celebrated the 100th anniversary of Scouting. With troop supporters Mark Draper and Kirk Tibbetts, the Scouts took turns telling tales of their travels and various highlights of the trip — like the “cut-throat” patch trading of Scouts all over the world as described by Kyle. The parallel was drawn that patch trading is much like the tradition of exchanging Rotary banners.
