County Republicans open headquarters

CARIBOU — The Aroostook County Republican Committee has announced the opening of its Republican headquarters in the Downtown Mall, 24 Sweden Street in Caribou. The Republican Headquarters will be open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 2. The public is invited to visit the headquarters to meet candidates, pick up literature and lawn signs, or to have any of their questions addressed.

Republican candidates represented at the newly opened headquarters include gubernatorial candidate Paul LePage, District 2 Congressional Candidate Jason Levesque, sheriff candidate David Salkind, Senate candidates Roger Sherman of Dist. 34 and Danny DeVeau of Dist. 35. Also, House Representatives candidates Rudolph St. Peter of Dist. 2, Bernard Ayotte of Dist. 3 and Peter Edgecomb of Dist 4.

Also represented at the headquarters are Jessica Chase Smith of Dist. 5, Tyler Clark of Dist. 6, Alexander Willette of Dist. 7, Joyce Fitzpatrick of Dist. 8 and Ricky Long of Dist. 9.

The Republican Headquarters will host a Baked Potato Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 and invites the public to stop by for a Maine baked stuffed potato.
