American Flag ColorPT William Holden    SATELLITE BEACH, FLA – William Bamford Holden, 80, passed away at home Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 with his loved ones at hand. He was born to Leah Bamford and Algernon Holden in Houlton, Maine on October 23, 1930. He graduated from Houlton High School in 1948.
    He was predeceased in death by his sister, Georgia Ketch of Houlton. He is survived by his brother James D. Holden of Houlton.
    Bill’s life was Duty, Honor, Country. He graduated from West Point in 1952 and served his country for 26 years – assignments in Korea, Vietnam, France, in the Pentagon and across our country concluding with retirement in Satellite Beach, FL, where he studied and became an accountant.
    Bill is loved and honored by his wife, Miriam; daughters, Linda, Janice and Jo Anne; sons, William and David; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
